We hold wine tastings during regular business hours Fridays and Saturdays. This week, May 19 and 20, we’re tasting Prova Cega Red Blend and Indaba Sauvignon Blanc.

 

Prova Cega Red Blend

This rich and rounded red comes from the Douro region of Portugal and is blended from several grapes used to make port wine. It is dry and aromatic with soft tannins and great complexity. This wine is great on its own or paired with grilled meats, stews and hearty cheeses. Best served at 61-64 degrees, so chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

 

Indaba Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is South Africa’s signature wine, and Indaba is an excellent example. It has crisp, zesty flavors of lime, grapefruit and honey, and is just about the most versatile white wine, as it pairs well with a wide variety of foods. Sustainably grown and produced.
